Charity Walk in Dubai for the victims of Typhoon Sendong

The UAE-based Philippine Business Council (PBC) will be organising an charity event on Friday, January 6, 2012, it is called Hakbang Buhay (Walk for Life). This charity event is for the benefits of the victims of typhoon Sendong (Washi).

These will be held in Safa Park, Dubai and it will start at 7am until 11am. This is open for all Filipinos and other nationalities. The registration booths will be at Gate 4 of Safa Park and the fee is Dh50.

Filipino Runners UAE will run for victims of typhoon Sendong

The group named the Filipino Runners UAE will use the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon to raise money to help the victims of flooding in the Philippines caused by typhoon Sendong (Washi).

About 70 runners of the group will join and run on January 27, 2012 event, which they called Takbo Para Kay Kabayan 2 (Run for my Countrymen).
