Philippine officials in the United Arab Emirates will hold a consular service at the Consulate General premises in Dubai from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20.
In a news release, the Consulate General said the service will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in cooperation with the Filipino community in Dubai.
"The Consulate General understands the situation of Filipinos in Dubai and Northern Emirates and has been taking great strides and efforts to make its services more accessible and available through consular services outside its regular office days in Fujairah, RAK, or at the PCG premises," the consulate said.
The services to be offered include passport application/renewal, notary applications, passport releasing, notary releasing, and the overseas absentee voting registration (OAV).
The Consulate General reminded Filipinos opting to avail of the passport application/renewal service to contact Matilyn Baguno, FilCom Vice President, to get their appointed slot by sending an email to: matilynbagunu@yahoo.com
Documentary requirements as well as forms are available on http://www.pcgdubai.net/services/philippine-passports/passport-application-direction/.
Those availing of notary services can check http://www.pcgdubai.net/services/notarial-services/ for requirements, forms and procedures.
"Please note that cut-off time for notary applications is 2:00 p.m.," it said.
On the other hand, those claiming their new passports are reminded to bring their current passport and receipt.
Also, they should see to it that they have applied for their new passports at least six weeks ago or that the passport is already available as stated in the PCG’s passport tracking service.
Those who plan to claim Notary documents (SPA, Acknowledgements, etc) should bring their receipt and make sure that the claim date falls before or on 20 April.
"Those who are availing of the OAV, please bring a copy of your valid passport," it added.
