Nol Card is a smart card that enables you to pay for the use of various RTA transport modes in Dubai with a single card. You can use your Nol Card to travel on Dubai's Metro, Buses, Water Buses, as well as pay for RTA's Paid Parking.
With Dubai's public convenience in mind, RTA is introducing the new Nol Card as the new way to travel around Dubai. Cash will not be accepted for payment to use Metro, Buses and Water Buses.
Different kinds of NOL Card:
1. Silver Card - An Anonymous card with an e-purse that can be loaded with up to AED 500. Price: AED 20 (includes AED 14 e-purse value).
2. Gold Card - An anonymous card with the same features as the Silver Card, but it gives you the privileged access to Metro's Gold Class seats for premium charges.
Price: AED 20 (includes AED 14 e-purse value).
3. Blue Card - A personal card with a secure e-purse that can be loaded with up to AED 500. Price: AED 70 (includes AED 20 e-purse value).
4. Red Ticket - A paper-based ticket that doesn't have e-purse, and can be loaded with 10 trips. Price: AED 2 and a minimum of 1 trip (prices of the trips vary depending on the zones).
